In today's technological era, even learning to use various media of information technology. Distance education system is a kind of industrialization of teaching and learning activities that operate characterized the division of labor and production (materials) in bulk. Distance education is an educational system that uses a two-way communication, although not in contact in the form in person between the educator and teacher, but can occur with the help of communication media such as Internet access, computer, television, radio, mail, and others with no geographic boundaries . To use these media will be adjusted to may be learning methods applied by each organizer. Distance education is very easily accessible, user can use it anytime and anywhere. Use of Distance Learning system based on technology so that this is one way to improve our ability to utilize technology.
Conclusion
Technology-based education system distance (Distance Learning) is needed in developing the science to be studied. DL system is not limited by geographic boundaries, whenever and wherever we can access it. In any of our usage is required to be more active in utilizing technology-based information. The information provided can be accessed by anyone, so it can be used in bulk. We recommend the use of this system, the user community has the facilities to support this program, as well as computer and Internet access. Equity programs have also been developed so that all communities benefit. Distance education programs (Distance Learning) is quite effective, especially for advanced countries, but this is one of the challenges for developing countries in order to leverage technology capabilities that will create the high-tech society.
